Many Fire Stations are now replacing their wooden lockers seen below with heavy duty Metal cages.
These cages are much friendlier to wet clothing offering ventilation to allow the wet clothing to dry.

These cages are manufactured in our steel and mesh fabrication factory in Manchester.
Working with Staffordshire Fire Service we have standardised on a locker which is 1915mm High x 515mm Deep x 375mm (internal) Wide
This is what Staffordshire think of our product and service (Letter of recommendation)
However where space is tight we can reduce the size and alternatively we can make them larger if required.
As standard we supply 2 adjustable shelves – one generally used for boots – one with a flat plate for helmets (and magnetic name plate)
As standard we supply 3 adjustable hooks.

Generally the lockers are fixed back to a wall but sometimes have legs to take the weight if the wall is not deemed strong enough.
The Lockers are raised off the floor to allow cleaning underneath.

When the lockers do not need to so robust, we can also manufacture in a lighter duty framework and mesh. The lockers shown below come in a variety of sizes and compartment combinations, with and without doors:
